Egyrank is identified as a Browser Helper Object (BHO). This spyware program hijacks the Internet browser homepage, search page and settings. The Egyrank program is also responsible for monitoring websites or URLs visited and redirecting the results to any of the website pages it sponsors. This spyware poses security risks and should be terminated from affected computer systems.

One way to deal with Egyrank is to stop and remove it from the system. There are filter applications that can help with this task.
