After the denial that Bluetooth Special Interest Group is still in the works of Bluetooth 2.2, the makers themselves confirmed that they are now working on BT 3.0.

Reports indicated that BT SIG told Wireless Week that they will come out with “high-speed specification next summer,” news that excites well, practically everybody.

Executive Director Mike Foley stressed that the new Bluetooth specifications will be what you will in expect in the version 3.0. These words are very important since the report didn’t categorically admitted that the new product will be BT 3.0.

Tech enthusiasts are already craving at the new BT. Logic dictates that the new Bluetooth will be faster in overall transmission speed, quicker response time and more stable.

There is no report however if the version 3.0 will have longer range, be more secured and other USB protocols.
