If you are a Windows user looking to optimize your computer system, you may need to fix Outlook.  And unlike many system problems, it does not always require technical expertise to do the job.  To begin with, Microsoft Outlook is the program used by Windows to send and receive emails.  Not every Windows user relies on Outlook to manage their emails, but those who do need to ensure that it is working properly.

To remove the corrupted file from your system you need to delete it.  This is easily accomplished by searching your computer for OUTCMD.DAT.  Once your computer finishes the search function and finds the file, you need only delete it.  Then, when you restart your computer and reopen Outlook, you should not have problems accessing your email.

This is a very simple process but one which can spare you a tremendous burden.  There is no reason why you should delay regaining access to your email when fixing Outlook is as simple as searching for and deleting a file.
