Quick Fix for a Common Windows XP Problem

Posted by Kat

People who use Windows regularly understand that there are quite a few issues that regularly arise.  One common Windows XP problem is that of an error message popping up when you attempt to shut down your computer.  This can be an annoying, if not troubling issue because it can actually prevent you from turning off your computer.  We all know that time is usually of the essence when we are using our computers and any setback can be extremely problematic.

The good news regarding this Windows XP problem is that there is a relatively quick fix.  To resolve this Windows XP problem you can most often reconfigure your windows so that the service pointed out in the error message will not be loaded by Windows.  This will bypass the problem and thus allow your computer to shut down and restart without issue.

You can use the System Configuration utility to turn off a service or file that is making it difficult for your system to shut down or turn off.  By following the prompts provided in the System Configuration utility you can set up your computer so that the problematic files do not interfere with your commands.

While the System Configuration utility may resolve this problem, it surely isn’t a cure all.  If you are looking to fully optimize your computer system, you will need the assistance of a tool specifically designed for this end.  Regcure is by and large the most effective product when it comes to computer optimization.  Download Regcure to fix your Windows XP problem and fully optimize your PC.
