1.    Click Start

2.    Go to All Programs

3.    Go to Accessories

4.    Select System Tools

5.    Click Disk Cleanup

If you’re experienced with Disk Cleanup, you can use it to identify and remove problematic files. This can be a good device to remove .DLL errors associated with DirectX.

Using a Registry Cleaner to Resolve DirectX Problems

While System Restore can be a great tool for fixing DirectX issues, it’s a bit like covering a bullet wound with a bandage. There are more proactive ways of fixing Microsoft DirectX problems.
