Whenever you encounter the blue screen error, it can be alarming. It can come out of the blue and your computer just hangs. The only thing you can do is hard boot your computer after you get a blue screen error, but what is it and why do you keep getting it? What is a Blue Screen Error?
The blue screen error goes by several different names. Blue Screen of Death, BsoD, and Blue Screen of Doom are all the same error. What the blue screen error really is, is a critical system error that causes your operating system to shut down. It can be caused by bugs in the registry, which is the core programming code of your Windows operating system.

Manually Fix Your Blue Screen Errors with a System Restore

1. Restart the Computer
2. Press F8 until you get to “Advance Boot Options”
3. Use the up and down arrows to select “Safe Mode”
4. Press Enter
5. When you get to the welcome screen, you will need the administrator password to gain access if you have one.
6. Click on the START button in the bottom left-hand corner
7. Go to “System Tools”
8. Select “System Restore”
9. Select “Restore my computer to an earlier time” and press Next
10. Choose a date to restore your computer to and select “Next”

Your computer should start without the error now.

How to Repair Blue Screen Errors
How do you fix your computer and stop these blue screen errors? The fix is so easy a beginner can do it. You see there is a new kind of program out there called a registry cleaner. These programs go into the registry and fix corrupted registry keys, thus removing the cause of the blue screen errors.
