If you are experiencing error 1723, you may be wondering what it is, how it happened to your computer, and how to fix it. I’m here to try to answer those questions for you.

What is Error 1723

Error1723 is a dll error. There is a corrupt or missing file in your dynamic link library, and thus you get the error. This could have been caused by a virus infection, or just normal wear and tear of your computer.

Fixing Error 1723

Since the error could be caused by a virus infection, let’s make sure your computer is clean. The first thing you want to do is fully update your anti-virus software. If it has been a while, you will need to update your anti-virus software multiple times. After your anti-virus is fully updated, you want to run a full scan on all your hard drives. This can take some time. While your anti-virus program does its thing, go watch a show or a movie, then come back to it.

Now that we have made sure your computer is clean of infections, we can do a system restore. Think of it like sending your computer back in time to a date when you didn’t have this problem. A word of warning, though. Any programs you installed between the date you choose and today’s date will have to be reinstalled.

In Windows Vista:

Start Windows up in Safe Mode(Press F8 while the computer starts up, then choose Safe Mode.)

Type restore in the Start Menu’s search box, you will see system restore listed there.

You are given 2 choices–recommended or choose another restore point. You want to pick a date before you started having your problems, so look at the dates carefully.

If you choose to choose another restore point, you will see a list of restore points and what you did when each was created.

After you choose the restore point, click Next

Click Finish

If you are still getting error1723, then it is time to look at a registry cleaner because you have registry errors causing the problem. Your registry is the core programming code of your Windows operating system, so any errors there can have far reaching effects.

Luckily there are registry cleaners, which specialize in fixing registry errors.

Part of using a computer is installing new programs. So when you come across the “Error 1628: Failed to complete installation” it’s very frustrating. It can be anything from installing software to use your new digital camera to trying to install Windows updates.

Causes of Errror1628

There is really only one reason you would get this error, and that is because at least one registry file is corrupt. There are a couple ways that could happen. One is it could have gotten corrupted via a virus infection. The second is that just normal wear and tear on your computer caused the file to become corrupted.

Fixing Error 1628

Since one of the causes of error1628 is corrupt files due to virus infection, let us make sure your computer is clean. Your anti-virus needs to be up to date. This means you need to update it. You may have to update it multiple times to get everything up to date, but it is important. Then after you have it up to date, make sure to update it at least once a week. Now you want to run a full scan on all of your hard drives. Since this can take a while, go watch a TV show or a movie while it runs.

Our next step is to do a system restore. Think of a system restore as a snapshot of your computer in the past when you weren’t having this problem. It basically takes your computer back to a date in the past. That being said, any programs you installed between the date you restore to and now will have to be reinstalled.

For Windows XP follow these directions:

Go to the Start menu

Find All Programs and click on it

Select Accessories

From that list you want to choose System Tools

Now click on System Restore

Select “Restore my computer to an earlier time”

Click Next

Select the restore point you want to use based on the date and description, the date you want to pick is before you started having the problem

Click Next

On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, verify the settings you have chosen.

If everything looks to be in order click Next

If you are still having the problem, then you have a registry error causing the issue.

There are many files in your dynamic link library, so having .dll errors at some point in time is to be expected. Having a ymmapi.dll file not found error is really not all that uncommon or hard to fix if you take the needed steps.

What is ymmapi.dll?

Ymmapi.dll it is the file to allow access to yahoo email from the email button on your browser. So if you are trying to access your yahoo email that way, you will be getting the ymmapi.dll file not found errors.

Some Causes of ymmapi Errors

Your ymmapi.dll file could have gone missing as a result of a virus infection, over enthusiastic hard drive cleaning, or as part of registry problems.

Easy Fixes for the ymmapi.dll File

The first thing you should do is update your anti-virus, then do a full scan. This will ensure that your computer is clean of virus infections. If you were infected the next step can help.

The next step is to do a system restore. To understand system restore, let’s think of it as snapshots of your computer’s registry that your computer takes usually around every 90 days. When you do a system restore, you are “going back in time” to a earlier date when you didn’t have the ymmapi.dll error.

For Windows XP follow these directions:

Find your start menu function

Select all programs

Find Accessories

Pick System Tools

Click on System Restore

Select “Restore my computer to an earlier time”

Select the restore point you want to use based on the date that you started getting the errors

On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page verify the settings you have chosen. If everything is in order click next.

Keep in mind that if you installed any programs between the date you restored to and now, you will need to reinstall those programs.

If that hasn’t fixed the problem, then you may have registry errors. Registry errors can range from corrupt files in your registry, to missing files, to file links that point to nowhere. Today there is a type of program called registry cleaner that is designed to take care of those issues.

To learn more about registry cleaners and to fix ymmapi.dll errors we found this advanced registry cleaning tool to be the easiest and quickest to use.

It is no secret that on occasion we need to do a computer tune up to keep our computer in tiptop shape, but the average computer user is usually in the dark on how to go about this. This is where we come in. We are going to share with you some steps to take to tune up your computer.

Go to your start button.

Go to Accessories

Select System Tools

Choose Disk Defragmenter, and wait while it does its work. This can take a while if you haven’t done one in a while. Do not do anything on your computer while Defrag runs, or else it will constantly start over and not get anything done.

If your computer is still misbehaving after the Defrag is complete you may have registry errors.

The Basics of Registry Errors
The registry is the core programming of your Windows operating system. If files in your registry are corrupt, missing, or linked to nothing, you will start to have problems. Anything from a slow computer to errors can occur.

How to Deal with Registry Errors
There is a new type of program on the market today called a registry cleaner. These programs are easy and safe to use. They go into your registry fixing corrupt or missing files. They will also remove the empty registry keys that are known to slow down your computer.

Are you experiencing strange errors or a slow computer? You are probably experiencing Windows problems. The extent of the errors you could be getting doesn’t stop there.

Common Windows Errors

programs hanging or crashing

.exe errors

system32 errors

Outlook Express problems

blue screen of death

.dll errors

slow computer

Manual Fix of Your Registry
Many people may attempt to go into their registry and edit it themselves. Here are the steps you need to take to get there.

Click the Start Button

Select “Run”

Now back up your system by typing “regedit” on the box that showed up after you selected “Run”

Click “OK”

A registry box will show up, choose a name for your file backup

Now if you are feeling brave enough to fix the registry yourself, you have all the files on the left hand side of the registry editor. The trick here is knowing the good files from the bad files.

Cause of Windows Problems
All of these problems have the same root cause. That cause is registry errors. Let me put this in layman’s terms so you know what I’m talking about. The registry is the core programming code for your Windows operating system. So if you have missing or corrupted files, or even empty registry keys in your registry, you will start seeing some of the above errors.

Solution to Your Windows Problems
The way to fix your registry problems is simple. There is a new kind of program on the market called registry cleaners. These programs specialize in fixing corrupt or missing files in your registry and cleaning out the empty registry keys. They are easy to use and much less dangerous than trying to fix the registry yourself.

You just run your registry cleaner every couple weeks like you would your anti-virus and it takes care of your registry problems. What are you waiting for? Fix your Windows problems today.

If you’ve run Windows for some amount of time, then it’s very likely you’ve encountered the Windows XP blue screen error. There are a lot of likely causes, considering how prone Windows can be to force itself into a Blue Screen of Death.

Every time Windows encounters a critical error that it can’t recover from, it’ll post a blue screen. Often, a simple reboot can solve the problem. However, if a reboot doesn’t fix it, it can be a more serious error.

Blue Screen Error Causes

Blue screen errors are usually caused by these 4 problems:

Missing or outdated drivers. Device driver errors are the common cause for blue screens.

Temperature / overheating problems.

Damaged or faulty hardware.

Viruses and other malicious programs.

In order to more efficiently troubleshoot the error, you’ll want to download the code that the blue screen message gives to you.

If you’re having trouble writing down the code before the system restarts, you can disable the reboot by doing the following:

Go to your Control Panel (Start > Setting > Control Panel)

Select System and Maintenance > System

Choose Advanced System Settings

Under Startup and Recovery, select Settings

Disable the Automatic Restart under System Failure setting

Fixes for Blue Screen Causes

Drivers: Update your drivers and make sure you have all necessary drivers for any new hardware. It’s also a good idea to download any Windows updates, if there are any.

Temperature: Your system temp should be about 33 degrees Celsius when idle. You can check your temp in the BIOS. If you are having temperature problems, make sure all your equipment is clean and that there is a decent current flowing through your tower.

Damaged hardware: You’ll need to troubleshoot each device to see which one is causing the error. If possible, switch them in and out to a known working machine.

Viruses: Boot into Windows under Safe Mode and run a trusty antivirus (do a deep scan, including archived files).

Regular Computer Maintenance

For regular maintenance, I recommend that you defrag your computer and run a registry cleaner. Defragging your computer will free up any space taken up by file fragments in your hard drive.

In a similar way, regularly running a registry cleaner will keep your computer free from system errors by repairing any corrupt or fragmented files contained in your registry. Since your registry tends to collect “dead” files bits and other useless information, you’ll want to keep it clean so that important programs can access the necessary system files that they need.

You can find a registry cleaner here to fix Windows XP blue screen errors and get your computer running fast, organized, and optimized.

Registry errors can cause serious problems in your system. To fix kern32.dll errors, you’ll want to follow the troubleshooting guidelines in this article.

Kernel32.dll errors are caused by programs and files attempting to access memory that is reserved for the system. When it tries to access that information, it will cause your system or program to crash.

Unfortunately, this is often a sign of infection. There are other causes, but I’d advise to check for viruses first, as this is the most common cause.

Memory Problems and Program Interruption

A kernel32.dll error will cause interruption to any program that you are running that is trying to use protected memory restricted to system-only memory.

It can also be caused by the following:

Corrupt kernel32.dll file

Low disk space

Hardware problems: faulty power supply, overheating CPU, and a malfunctioning hard drive

Bad BIOS configurations

Buggy programs

In each case, you’ll want to isolate and troubleshoot the problems. For example, if you have a buggy program that continues to give the error, reinstall the program. If you have low disk space, upgrade your hard drive or make room by deleting unused programs and files.

If you’re having hardware-specific issues, try updating your drivers. It’s also important to keep your parts at a low temperature, so make sure your laptop or PC has good airflow to keep heat off your parts.

Perform Regular Computer Maintenance

Be certain to keep your PC clean and organized. I recommend by starting off with a scan disk or check disk. This has the dual benefit of optimizing your memory space and keeping your file space organized.

Go to Start > Run

In Open, type cmd

Type chkdsk

This process will repair and organize your system files.

Delete all temp folder, cookies, and cache information regularly. A lot of unnecessary files and file fragments can clog up in these areas. Go to each of these folders and delete everything in them.

Defragment your computer regularly. If you don’t defrag, your hard drive memory will start to build up “dead zones” that your system cannot access.

Repair Corrupt Files with a Registry Cleaner

Registry cleaners are excellent for these types of system errors. A cleaner can pinpoint and repair corrupt or missing files for your system.

Trying to do this manually is not only dangerous, frustrating, and inefficient, but it is also ill advised. Download a trustworthy registry cleaner here to fix kernel32.dll errors and other registry-related system problems.

Do you need to fix svchost.exe so that it stops causing errors? Fix svchost.exe and prevent that irksome bug from interrupting your work. Fortunately, there are a plethora of methods you can use to resolve svchost.exe problems. Today we’ll discuss how Process Explorer can help solve svchost.exe errors.

Confirm that the Enemy is an Svchost.exe Error

First, make sure that you have positively identified an svchost error as the cause of your problem. You can do this by analyzing Task Manager. Task Manager lists all applications and processes currently running on your computer.

One of the easiest ways to detect an svchost error is to look for the CPU capacity bug. Svchost is notorious for introducing a bug wherein svchost takes up 99 to 100% of CPU capacity. So, here’s how to identify this bug:

Click Start

Type “Task Manager” into the search text box.

Open Task Manager.

Click on the Processes tab. You’ll probably see that multiple versions of svchost are running. If you see an inordinate number of svchost processes, it’s probable that your system has a bug. Also, take a look at the amount of memory that each svchost.exe file is using. If one is taking up a huge amount of memory, then you know that this process is the culprit.

Click “End Process.”

Examine Processes to Find the Real Culprit

You have to look beyond the surface to find the cause of svchost.exe errors. Svchost essentially hosts and executes OTHER processes (.DLL files). As such, it is usually one of the services associated with svchost that causes the error.

While ending the process might work temporarily, it’s good to root out the problem once and for all. To do this, you’ll need to open Process Explorer. If you don’t already have Process Explorer, it’s readily available for download. Now, assuming you’ve got Process Explorer, here are the steps you should follow:

Open Process Explorer.

All processes will be displayed in the left pane. Hover your mouse over the suspected perpetrator of the error (one of the svchost.exe processes.)

A list of all services associated with that process will pop up.

Click Go To Services.

Disable whichever services are creating the error.

Terminate Services and Clean the Registry to Solve Svchost.exe Problems

It’s often quite easy to identify which service is causing errors. Simply take note of which program tends to foment these errors. Then, terminate services associated with that program.

Sometimes the svchost.exe error will elude you completely. If this is the case, download and use a registry cleaner. A registry cleaner will scan the most cavernous and complex part of your system, the registry, and dig out svchost.exe errors. This is a great alternative, and you should try it if the above methods don’t resolve your problem. Fix svchost.exe problems and prevent them from ever bothering you again.

What do you do if you are experiencing win32 errors? How do you go about repairing win32 errors? I’m sure if you are experiencing win32 errors, you are asking these questions. Maybe even wondering why you are receiving win32 errors at all.

Symptoms of a Win32 Error
Win32 errors usually manifest themselves as program crashes. The program will crash; then the error will appear. The program might crash all the time, or only on occasion, or maybe other programs crash at random as well. No matter how the error is manifesting itself, it always seems to mean headaches.

Registry Errors and Win32
The cause of win32 errors is registry errors. You may ask, “What is a registry error?” Let me simplify so you can understand the terminology. The registry is the core programming of your Windows operating system. If there are missing or corrupt files in your registry, you will get registry errors.

Manual Fix for Win32
One of the most obvious ways to fix a Win32 error is to replace the file. Seems like a simple solution, but do you know where to put the file in the registry after you replace it? This may seem easy enough, but be warned that even some of the most advanced computer techs choose not to dig into registry files for fear of having to replace the whole system. Always back up your files anytime you go into your Registry Editor!

If you try this and find the Win32 problem still popping up, you could always try to reboot the installation from the reboot disk:

Select the “Install” option on the disk.

The disk will work to configure th existing version of Windows in your system.

Choose “Repair this installation”.

You may end up needing to do a clean install action. This will overwrite all of your existing Windows program with clean files.

Again, always back up.

Simple Fix for Win32
You may ask “How do I fix registry errors?” You may even think it seems difficult and a very technical thing to do. And you are not a technical person. That’s okay because there is a fix anyone can use to repair win32 errors. A type of program called a registry cleaner repairs things like win32 errors and prevents future errors from occurring.

Whether you want to dive into your registry yourself or find a registry program to do it for you, research the options before you repair Win32. While you may be able to fix this problem on your own, be very careful. In addition, you won’t be protected from future errors.

Are you having troubles with win32 errors? The information I will give you in this blog will help you repair win32. The first sign of trouble with win32 errors is usually a program crashing and giving you a win32 error.

The crashes may happen on occasion or all the time, and it may happen with just one program or with multiple programs. No matter how often it happens, it can be frustrating and confusing to deal with.

Explaining Registry Errors
There is a root cause to win32 errors. The problem simply put is registry errors. Unless you are technically inclined, the term registry error won’t mean much to you. To help you get a better understanding of registry errors, I’m going to explain them in plain language.

The registry is the core programming of your Window operating system. Without the registry, your Windows will not work. This also means if there are missing or corrupt files in your registry, your Windows will not work properly. That is what a registry error is. Easy to understand once you get the basics down isn’t it?

Repair Win32 Manually
The quickest (but maybe the riskiest) solution is to replace missing, deleted, or corrupted Win32 files using the Windows API. When you get the Win32 error, write down the message. If you can’t access a certain dll or sys file, you can replace it by going to the manufacturer’s website or finding a reputable source of registry files.

Make sure the current version that you download is compatible with the one that you are replacing. If that doesn’t work, back up all of your files and repair your operating system from the boot disk:

From here, choose “install”.

The disk will find the version of Windows on your system.

Choose to repair the installation.

If that still doesn’t fix the error, go back into the boot disk and perform a clean install. This will replace any existing files with clean ones.

Repair Win32 Errors without Any Hassles
What do you do if you need to repair your registry and thus the win32 errors? That, too, is easy. You get a program called a registry cleaner. These programs are designed to both catch an error or prevent future ones.

Before you jump right into just any old program, it’s a good idea to research registry cleaners. In some cases, you may even find that you can fix it manually. However, for the amateur computer tech, this is unadvisable and results in having to start over from scratch. Read up about how to repair win32 first.
