Digital Foci Showcases 160GB Picture Porter 35 Photo Manager

Posted by Mike

Digital Foci, a manufacturer of digital frames came up with a new device that will perhaps change the way you look into photo manager. This is the Picture Porter 35, and it has a few features that will very well make you smile even you’re not in front of the camera.

The new Picture Porter 35 is powered with a 160GB internal hard drive while boasting a 3.5-inch LCD monitor. The capacity is obviously decent as it also packs a multi-format card reader in it. It has a transfer rate of 120 seconds for 1GB data so that means transferring your entire photo portfolio will not take forever with this device.

It also has video and audio inputs so if you think this its only use is for still pictures, then you’re wrong. There is a built-in speaker, audio recorder with a built-in mic to handle these things.

The new device targets both amateur photo enthusiasts as well as professional photographers. The press release boasts that the device removes you of worrying about limited memory card space and 160GB surely justifies that.

Picture Porter 35 also supports DSLR & IPTC Support for Pro and Travel Photography functions. Its card supports CF, MMC, SD/HC Card, miniSD, Memory Stick, MS PRO, MS Duo, and xD-Picture card types.

Picture Porter 35 will appear in CES 2009. Its price will be available very soon.
